Order Form
We've tried to make ordering Cyclotour Guide Books, Rubel Maps,
ÉDB Waterways/bicycling Guides of the French Canal System, Pedallers Paradise New Zealand
Guides, other books and products as easy as a pedal stroke! If you read this
information then you'll probably save some headaches and dollars!
The fastest and easiest way to order is by clicking: cyclotour@cyclotour.com & sending us an
email. If your email system does not support sending an email from a web site then
copy our email address and go to your email program to
send us an email message with:
Subject line: BIKE BOOK ORDER
Message:
The titles & quantity of the books &
maps you want to order
Your name, address, city, State/Province,
zip/postal code &
telephone number.
We usually confirm your order with a email. If you do not receive a
confirming email or telephone message then email or
call us again.
We usually ship books & maps the same day we receive the
order.
An invoice and self-addressed stamped envelope is enclosed with your
order. To remit by check or money order simply enclose your check or money order in the
self-addressed stamped envelope.
To order and pay by credit card click on the logo below and use the Pay
Pal system. You do have to join Pay Pal but they do not spam you. Pay Pal will give our
non-USA customers the best exchange rate.
We will confirm you order by email as soon as we receive it. Orders
which come to us via the postal service, telephone and fax are confirmed by those means.
General
Information
We suggest you save this Order Form in your computer as: cyclotour
books.txt or cyclotour books.htm. Then print out the Order Form as your record of
the books you have ordered.
The order form is configured as a table. Some web browsers or
printers do not recognize or print tables. If you have any problems saving or
printing the Order Form please email us.
Prices: All prices are in US funds.
Payment: All remittances must be made in US
funds.
Orders going to addresses outside of the United States must be paid by
a US funds postal money order or a check drawn on a US bank. Sorry, but our bank
charges us a $30.00 fee each time we deposit a check drawn on a non-US bank. Use Pay Pal
to transfer funds from your bank to our bank. Pay Pal will give you the best exchange rate
and will not charge you a fee!
Orders going to Canada may be paid with a check drawn on a Canadian
Bank but marked US FUNDS next to & above the $ sign
and above the written out amount. You'll probably get a better rate of exchange using Pay
Pal.
We recommend using Pay Pal to remit payment for your either your
domestic & foreign order; and we recommend it even though we pay a commission to Pay
Pal..
Credit Cards: We accept credit cards payment using the
Pay Pal system.
Please do not forget to state the title of the book you wish to order.

The credit card companies take a huge per sale commission and we'd have to stop publishing
books if we had to pay the credit card commissions. If you accidentally send us your
credit card number, the number will be deleted & we'll fill the order. Simply
return the invoice with your check in the self-addressed envelope which will be enclosed
with your order.
Bookstores and bike shops which accept credit cards and most likely
have our books in stock are listed on our Links page,
telephone them first. You can order Cyclotour Guide Books from your local bookstore
or bike shop.
Shipping: We use USPS Priority Mail to ship our
books to addresses in the USA. USPS Global Priority Mail is used to ship our books to
other nations. We usually ship the same day we receive the order.
To the USA: The shipping charge is $4.95
for orders sent to addresses in the United States (including APO). It doesn't matter
how many books or maps you order at one time going to the same address in the USA.
Shipping charges are sometimes a rip off and we find most folks like a simple standard
shipping charge.
In 2007 USPS increased the Priority Mail rate.
Maps: If you are ordering only 1 or 2 maps, then the
shipping charge is $3.50 & we send the maps via first class mail.
Express Mail: If you want next day or legal holiday
delivery in the USA we will ship your books using USPS Express Mail which costs a minimum
of $18.25. We usually can fit 3 books into an Express Mail flat rate envelope.
To Other Nations: For book orders going
to addresses in Canada or any other nation we charge the exact amount of the Global
Priority Mail postage. Generally 3 sometimes 4 books can fit into a flat rate Global
Priority Mail large envelope. If we can not fit all the books you order into one flat rate
envelope then we determine the cost of the postage and contact you about the extra
shipping charges.
Canada: International Priority Mail, US$11.95 or the current USPS International Priority Mail Rate to Canada.
All other nations: International Priority Mail, US$13.95 or the current USPS International Priority Mail rate.
Mistakes: If we made a mistake filling your
order, we'll make it right! If you made the mistake, we'll make it right! In general
we will accept returns, within a reasonable period of time (~1 month) from the customer
who paid for the book. We usually don't even ask why you are returning the item. We
usually send you a check for the return postage.
How to Order: You can order five (5) different
ways! Amazing!
1. Pay Pal: Go to Pay Pal and its secure server using
the Pay Pal clickover, below. Please do not forget state the title of the
book you want to order. Please don't forget to tell us which book you want to order
& the price of the book (usually but not always US$24.95 each); to include the postage
amount ($4.95 to the USA; US$11.95 to Canada; US$13.95 to other nations). It is very easy
using this click over since Pay Pal instantly places our email address into the pay to
email address box. Follow the directions on the Pay Pal web site. Please, please send us a
separate email with the titles of the books you are ordering and with your telephone
number. The telephone number is important for us to contact you if there is a delay,
etc. We do not spam, telemarket or do other objectionable practices.
2. Email: Just send us an e-mail with your name, address, city,
State/Province, zip/postal code, telephone number and most importantly the titles of the
books and maps you are ordering.

3. Post Mail: Write us a note or provide a
print out of this page. Don't forget to tell us the titles of the books and maps you
are ordering, your name, address, State/Province, zip/postal code, telephone number &
e-mail address. Mail your order with a check or USPS money order (or wait for the
invoice & book to arrive & then remit) to:

4. Telephone/Fax: You can telephone or fax
us at 585 244-6157. Make certain you state the title of the books and maps you are
ordering as well as your name, address, city, State/Province, zip/postal code and
telephone number on the answering machine if we are unavailable to speak directly with
you. The fax machine will automatically connect to your fax machine after
approximately 20 seconds.
5. Bookstores & Bike Shops: Bike, walk, run
or drive to your local bookstore or bike shop. Pull our books off the shelf, run to
the cash register, pay and begin to cyclotour. What! The store doesn't stock
Cyclotour Guide Books! Demand to see the manager! Don't forget to special order
the book you want.
