Zealand Bicycle Tour Guide Books

You might
think that the Pedallers' Paradise maps are a bit sparse on details but Nigel says,
"New Zealand has lots of land, mountains, fiords, parks, and farms between its
roads and towns."
The text information combined with the maps and elevation graphs is
precisely what bicycle tourists have demanded and find most useful. We've copied a
bit of the text at the end of this information essay to show you the comprehensive nature
of Pedallers' Paradise.
There are 18 major routes described in the North Island Guide; 18
major routes in the South Island Guide; plus numerous alternative routes and link road
with descriptive text.
Beautiful New Zealand with its fiords, mountains and rural
roads. Truly a Pacific Ocean paradise. For bicyclists, New Zealand is a
delightful place to pedal around. Friendly folks, amazing scenery and low trafficked
roads. You'll need a Pedallers' Paradise guide to fully enjoy your bicycle tour.
Nigel Rushton knows his nation. He's bicycled on almost all of its
roads and off road trails. Nigel wrote the Pedallers' Paradise series to meet New
Zealanders' demand for accurate bicycle touring information.
You will find the directions, maps, elevation graphs, lodging
information, and touring information precisely what you need to pedal around New Zealand.
Pedallers' Paradise: North Island and Pedallers' Paradise: South Island
by Nigel Rushton fully describe road trips on both of the Islands which comprise New
Zealand. The maps, elevation graphs and route directions are clear and concise in these
bicycle
touring guides by New Zealander Nigel Rushton. The text describing each Island's
geo-political region provide a virtual picture for your mind. Lodging and local
attractions listings are provided in each book.
For many years Nigel operated a bed and breakfast/camping area in
addition to writing these outstanding New Zealand bicycle tour guides. Recently he moved
to Christchurch where he is once again searching for a bed and breakfast to operate.
To give you a flavor of Nigel's direct and to the point but highly informative style we've
copied a small sample of the text for this route.
